Monday Post: Left lane is for passing, Firefox 3, Weeds premieres

This article is about how going 65 on the highway will save you gas. Which is true, but in Houston driving, will also get your ass honked at, jeered at, tailgating and maybe worse.

My side note is: When will someone launch a campaign in Spanish that teaches the left lane is for passing only? Going 65 in the left lane deserves all of the above. People are just not taught like I was pass on the left, ride to the right. Every morning, I get behind someone going 60 or 65, and they scoff at you if you motion for them to get over. They are actually causing unsafe driving because everyone else going 70-80 have to swerve around them and changing lanes is more dangerous. Stupid people. Man, I have wanted to rant about that for weeks now. Stupid people, and I am not stereotyping because I would say over 75% (in my scientific survey of driving to work every day for the last 3 years) are minorities and mostly hispanic. So there you are. Left lane is for passing, fools. coast in the right. (BTW: that is a law. left lane is for passing. I wish cops would pull these oafs over)

To better news, Firefox 3 gets released tomorrow.

Anyone watching Weeds tonight? They are moving out of the suburbs.....

Co-workers annoying habits....what do you do?

When mom and dad decide they are really, really, equal partners in house and childcare. Some crazy stats about how much women still do in household chores, even the working ones.

And finally, an article on what straight couples can learn from gay couples, since gender isn't an issue when it comes to taking out the trash.
