Wednesday Night Post:; More Rant about Continental Shelf Drilling; Oil drilling in US

The Offispring new release came out this week. Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. guess that covers the emotions? This link has the first single, Hammerhead, and a best of mp3 link for one song per album for the history of Offspring. I love offspring...

I have been indifferent towards Coldplay, but I find their new album catching. The itunes song is cool, and when Lost! becomes a single you will clap along. Here it is and links to purchase"

Lost! - Coldplay

Today was the debate on the hill about opening up drilling on the continental shelf...what I alluded to in the last post. The democrats, are of course against it, saying that the oil companies already have the right to drill on 68 million acres of federal leases, and they haven't done so. Um, don't you think they would have if there was oil to be found and it was profitable to drill? Ironic for the same politicians threatening a windfall tax then demanding that the oil companies drill where it isn't technologically possible or profitable. They would drill if it were not profitable, but only if you keep those tax breaks coming. See the oxymoron, folks?

You know who is drilling off the coast of Cuba, within eyesight of Florida? Wait for it..China! This is a perfect example of "I drink your milkshake!" You don't think China is performing horizontal drilling towards our coast? Do you think there might be oil on the north side of that line, that our own laws prohibit us from drilling? In the words of GOB, come on!

When are you going to approve a new refinery being built? It is claimed northern Alaska (ANWR) has more oil BBL than current Saudi reserves.....
